Superb example. It is possible that this is a very rare prototype example. The very first cars had hand formed rear tail lights that were part of the alloy body. Most production cars like mine and certainly those made in 1951 had separate castings. This is only a video but if my observation is correct then this could be a 1948 example.

I had one in the 90s . Wonderful car to drive . Extremely comfortable it floated down the motorway . Unfortunately it suffered a blown engine caused by a porous engine block . Apparently a common fault at the time
